A (partial) Week In Review: February 1 - February 4 -- Part 2

  • The Blue Jays signed lefty Ken Takahashi to a minor league deal, according to Kyodo News. They also offered free agent Kevin Millar a minor league contract, J.P. Ricciardi reported. (h/t MLBTR)
  • The Rangers are working to close a deal with reliever Eddie Guardado, according to the Hot Stove Blog.
  • The Houston Chronicle reported that Roger Clemens' DNA was found on syringes given to the FBI.
  • If you haven't heard of the latest ManRam news, you've been living in a cave. I'll get into that in another post, but MLB.com reported that the Nationals will not be the home of Manny next season, despite speculation.
  • The Royals and P Brian Bannister avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.7MM contract, according to Joel Sherman of the NY Post. (h/t MLBTR)
